For more than a century the name NUTRICIA has been synonymous with infant and toddler nutrition.

In 1896, Göttingen, Germany, Professor Backhaus made milk for the first time with a composition inspired by breast milk. This first "baby" milk was made available to all families through NUTRICIA.
